An experienced businessman and entrepreneur, Douglas Pitts is a graduate of Harvard Business School, who spent 20 years in investment banking in senior positions with major Wall Street firms including UBS Warburg Dillon Read and Prudential Securities as well as The Inverness Group, a private equity investment firm.

A resident of Annapolis and a long time sailing enthusiast, Pitts has been involved in a number of business startups and, most recently co-founded and was Managing Director of Merchant Energy Group of the Americas, a top 25 energy trading firm. He also is a practicing videographer, providing video production services to corporate and non-profit organizations through his media services company, Heartbeat Media LLC. Pitts brings a wealth of business experience and professionalism to the commercial, operational and media development activities of BRace.
